And, in honor of having finished the Chapter One rewrite, I give you something fun. ^_^
1. Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
2. Turn to page 56.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post that sentence along with these instructions in your LiveJournal.
5. Don't dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST.
"Make Amitraz dilutions according to label directions."
*coughs* OK, so my nearest book was the Clinical Veterinary Advisor and page 56 was about Amitraz toxicosis and the prevention thereof. ^_^ What can I say? I've been doing research at home lately. ^_~

Got one!
"She had her hand on the knob and had actually begun to turn it when a sudden realization stopped her cold."
Blood Ties by Tanya Huff. I'd been re-reading it so it was on my bedside table. And I'm posing it here because I'm pretty certain you're the only person who reads my journal, so it wouldn't go far on my own. ^_^
