Didn't actually get around to plugging in my PS2 today, either. This got in my way:

Warm, cuddly kitten is warm and cuddly. And kinda heavy, actually. (But not as heavy as he looks from this angle, I swear.) ^_^

I mean, really... Who in their right mind could dislodge that? ^_^ So, we've been hanging out on the bed, cuddled up in blankets, drinking some nice, hot tea and reading a book. Not a bad way to spend a cold, snowy day, right? ^_~ Perhaps I'll plug in the PS2 later. Or sew some patches together. Or just stay cuddled up where I am. Especially as the kitten is now cuddled under the blankets. *_* OMGadorable. *_* I love my kitten. Even when he's using me as a space heater. ;D

6:51 PM -- And then there was freshly made quinoa salad with red peppers, sauteed onions, roasted butternut squash and dried cranberries. Oh. And onion soup. And life was even better. *_* *_* Yum...

So... Gabriel has been ridiculously, adorably photogenic and cooperative the last few days and I haven't offered a kitty picspam in a while. So... enjoy!

Bow to the cute. Seriously. Bow to it. )

Who me? Procrastinating about writing? Nooooooooooooo. Why do you ask? *innocent blinks*

Edit: 4:27 PM... OK, apparently kitty pictures help. ^_^ 16,634 words, 2,456 of them new. I feel better, now. ^_^ That catches me up for the little bit I was lagging behind up to the 4th and 1/3 of the 5th. Only 2703 more words to go until I'm back on track. ^_^ That should be easily doable if I can get back into my writing groove after dinner. *bright smile* *pause* That should scare me, shouldn't it? O_O
eirenical: (Hair -- Berger: And.... Me!)
So... Played Sims again last night. ^_^ Yeah. More Sims. That's right.

*scuffs foot against the floor* *clears throat*

Anyway, Berger's parents and sister have moved in next door (and I did a mighty find job on the house, if I do say so, myself ^_^) and in the interest of expediency (and because Crissy really did seem to want to move in with Jeanie and Cloud), I split up Crissy and Woof... who weren't really together to begin with. And again, in the interest of expediency, and the reality of needing to get Elaine somehow, Woof is now with Samantha. ^_^ *coughs* Trust me, it makes sense. Sort of. OK, not really, but work with me here, all right? ^_^

Please forgive any glaring typos. I was up kinda late doing this and I tried to catch them all... I just know I didn't. O_O;;;

And for those of you interested... (read: iscreamlouder) ...Enjoy! )

Hair Sims!

And the start of Berger and Claude's Sims storyline...

...'cuz I can. ^_^ )
eirenical: (Hair -- Jesus I'm gettin' stoned!)
You asked for it? You've got it! ^_^ OK, only one of you asked for it, but we've already established that it doesn't take much, right? ^_^ Anyway, to start off with, we've got pictures of the families. So far only Claude and Berger are moved into their house, but some of the others made cameos anyway. ^_^ I'll post those pictures later.

Erm... enjoy? *unsure but game smile* )
eirenical: (Hair -- comfort)
So, I went to see Hair one last time (and this time I mean it! ...until the tour, that is ^_^) yesterday. I'm not, however, going to blather on about the show today. Short notes: Nicole Lewis was in as Tribe and Aretha Franklin. *cheers* So happy! Anastacia McCleskey was in understudying for Dionne -- holy hell can that woman sing! Seriously an improvement. ^_^ Jason Wooten was as awesome as he was on Friday. ^_^ Vanessa Ray was much more herself yesterday and I liked her again. ^_^ Josh Lamon is still adorable as Margaret Mead. Rachel Bay Jones is still hysterical as Mom and Buddhadalirama.

Oh crap. Short didn't happen. Placing behind a cut so as not to spam f-lists. *sigh* )

Moving on, now...

OK, so what else did I do on Wednesday? *snerts* I'll tell you. Since I was wandering around New York with nothing to do but wander, I decided to take a trip up to Central Park. Why? I had gotten it into my head that I wanted to find Berger's bridge -- if you've read my stories, you know the one. The one in which Berger takes refuge during "Going Down" and is still inhabiting by "Where Do I Go?" The one where Jeanie and Claude finally find him. The one under which he and Claude are reunited after 15 years apart. The one that becomes so symbolic for Berger that he uses its imagery to knock some sense into Claude's head in "I Believe in Love." You know it. And I decided that I wanted to find it, to see it for myself, to soak up its atmosphere and fic for a while.

Yes, I am a dork. I freely admit it. ^_^

*coughs* So, I thought I'd take you all on a little pictorial journey through Central Park (which really does have some lovely bridges) on my search for...

...Berger's Bridge )

Hope you enjoyed! :D

Oh, and since I haven't posted a word count in a while, thought I would. ^_^ Berger's bridge did inspire me and I ended up writing a few words while sitting in my seat at the Al Hirschfeld waiting for the show to start. O_O Then a few more on the train on the way home. ^_^ All on the "wrong" fic -- now the right one as "Donna" is finished and I'm allowed to be distracted by whatever I want. ^_~

Yesterday's word count: 848
Total word count: 9,548

Not much yesterday, but the total's impressive, right? ^_~
