eirenical*weary waves* Thanks for the words of encouragement, guys. ^_^ *snugs a Kristi 'n' a Seimei* I appreciated it. And for those of you wondering how the first day went, the answer is "Very well". ^_^ I spent most of the day shadowing Courtney (one of the other two vets at the practice) and basically learning how things work. She let me see two cases this morning (one heartworm test and two puppies for Rabies vaccines) and both went well. :) All in all, it was a pretty good day. I was dead tired by the end of it... but I suspect that has less to do with how much I did and more to do with the fact that I got 4 hours of sleep last night. O_o;;; I was a little nervous... *sheepish grin*
Anyway, the next couple of days are going to go pretty much the same as today -- shadowing Courtney and seeing baby appointments (literally, puppy and kitten exams *squee!*) -- except that Tuesday and Wednesday I work from 8:30 AM until close -- around 8:30 - 9:00 PM O_O -- with an hour each for lunch and dinner. That's going to be a little rough... O_o;;; But I get Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoons off! (Even though I work Thursday night...) *shrugs* Eh. ^_^ It'll all work out. And if having my two late days back to back doesn't work well, Courtney said that we can change it. *nods*
And I have just realized that I am degenerating into a state of complete incoherency. *sweatdrop* I think I'm going to go do something mindnumbing for an hour or two... like watch more of Prince of Tennis. *nods*
