I have had one HECK of a Memorial Day/Weekend. How about you? ^_^

In short... I kind of really love JCS. I kind of especially love this cast of JCS.

...and at this moment, they aren't going to be getting a cast recording. That is just plain unacceptable, no matter what the reason.

So, at the risk of crossing my fan life here, with my real life there... after some gentle nudging, I started a petition. We've gotten 213 signatures in JUST 14 HOURS, guys.

And I want more. ^_^

You have no idea how excited I am at the idea of a basically getting a cast recording. We NEVER get cast recordings. It drives me CRAZY.

I bet! I really hope this works. We have almost 600 signatures already and it's barely been more than 2 days. *crosses fingers* *hopehopehope*

Huh. And it's funny, but it just occurred to me after rereading this that we in NY are rather spoiled. We almost always get cast recordings. I mean... we get cast recordings of shows that have barely been open 2 months, these days and the occasional odd re-release EP for replacement casts (I'm looking at you, Mr. Jonas). Makes me glad, once again, that the theatre I love is based here. ;)

That's amazing! Man, I really hope it works too. I think we got a cast recording of a Canadian production of Les Mis. That's honestly the only one I can think of and I would LOVE to have some Stratford recordings. Even for Superstar, I really, really wish I had a recording of Brent Carver as Pilate because damn, he was awesome. I get so excited when we get pre-broadway show run at Mirvish because it means the damn recording will be the same.
