eirenicalOK, so I totally want to blather on and on and on about how awesome this weekend was. I saw Priscilla, Queen of the Desert three times -- the first two of which were on the same day and the last time of which was opening night. If you have not seen this show, you must go see it!! I mean it. You must. *_*
Anyway. I want to, but I'm not going to. I've already blathered on about it on FB and Twitter... and I'm losing the coherency needed to do a review justice on LJ. So, instead, I'll leave you with this:

I have been a fan of this person's writing for years -- since my time in the GW fandom. So, seeing that she actually likes my writing enough to add an alert for me... dude, I about went over the moon. ^____________^ Only... only... ff.net doesn't tell you why they added you! D: So, I have no idea what fandom I write in that even caught her eye in the first place! *twitch* ff.net's stats are less than helpful, sometimes. :-P *sigh* Ah well. And today we have Gavin Creel with a whopping 5 entries, then Priscilla, Sara Bareilles and Rurouni Kenshin each with 3 entries and Debbie Friedman with 2. In spite of that California Dreamin' incident... I kind of love my WMPlayer right now. ^_^ Allow me to demonstrate:
Gavin Creel: Seeing him in Prometheus Bound in 2 weeks -- so damned excited, I can't even express it!!
Priscilla: Saw it three times this weekend, including opening night tonight. Self explanatory? ^_^
Sara Bareilles: The first CD I listened to that wasn't GC or the Hair OBRCR after a nearly six-month obsessive stretch of listening to only those two CDS. Still very high in the rotation. ^_^ And how did I get into her? -.-;;; Gavin Creel was obsessing about her new CD, so I figured... eh. I should check it out. ^_^
Rurouni Kenshin: Seriously, dude. I've been downloading torrents of anime that I've wanted on DVD and can't currently afford/didn't like the commercial translation. ...RK was totally next on the list. O_O;;;

and the music meme looks fun! alas, music meme's are always lost on me as I never really listen to the lyrics in most songs (even if I know the lyrics, i probably haven't thought about them) so half the shit on my ipod I'm like "I have absolutely no idea if this applies to me or not". I have been told I'm weird for not personally connecting to the lyrics in songs, but alas, what can you do. Despite my musical theatre love, I've never been a music person. (although I guess i only really need the titles on this one. Never mind. It's early.)
