NaNoWriMo Day #30...

It is 11:56 PM on November 30th and I have 59,361 words. I started this project with 9,337. That means that I officially have 50,000 new words, all written within the month of November and completed within the 30 days allotted.
*throws confetti* I have officially completed my very first every NaNoWriMo!! :D :D :D *cheers* That is freakin' awesome!! *beams*
I'd like to thank Claude and Berger (and incidentally, Gavin Creel, Will Swenson, Paris Remillard and Steel Berkhardt) for making this NaNo possible. You boys are my muses, my inspiration and I love you all to death for it. ^_^
Scary thing, though? *sweatdrop* I have almost 60,000 words of fic... and the fic's actually not done. O_O *coughs*
*rolls up sleeves* Back to work! :D
Edit: (1:44 AM) Good grief, I'm tired. 61,830 words as we speak. As a brief reality check, that's 73 pages of 10 pt. single spaced Hair fic. And it's officially the longest Hair fic I've written, surpassing Hair: Redux by 19,724 words... so far. Yeah. I'm kind of shocked, too. O_O;;; It is also now officially my longest fic, period, surpassing A Rose by Any Other Name by 5,274 words... so far. O_O Damn.
*clears throat* Anyway, movingonnow! I need to finish off this scene, possibly cap it off with one more, maybe not. We'll see. But I am too damned tired to finish it up right now. Will get a fresher perspective on it in the morning... and maybe consider posting the first part...? Yoiks. Or maybe I'll give it a day or two to sit and percolate when it's done before giving it a reread for continuity. Good night, all and thanks for sticking with me through this thing! I now return you to your regularly scheduled slim posting pickings. ^_~
