Dude... I totally thought I was going to write tonight. Or at least do homework. Yeah... I'm so exhausted, I don't really think that either one is gonna happen. iFail. But at least I had tremendous fun at the wedding I went to today. ^_^ And my niece was adorable. OMG. :D

Classic moment:
My cousin walked by me at the table and I stopped him to say hello. He turned, looked at me, did and honest-to-G-d double take, then said, "Renee! I... I almost didn't recognize you!" Then there was this momentary awkward pause where I smiled and he looked like he just realized he might have said something wrong, then in a meek little voice said, "You... you changed your hair... D-didn't you?" XD I took pity on him and told him I had (I did just get it trimmed and the color redone a week or two ago, after all ^_^). Poor boy. I think he was afraid to say that it looked like I'd lost weight, in case I realized that he noticed I'd been fat before. XD Oh, Matt... you're too adorable for words. ^_^

All my female cousins were a lot less quiet about it. They just all gave huge hugs and said, "You look fantastic! You've lost so much weight! My G-d, you look great!" ^_^ Women know that that sort of fuss is always welcome.

And yes, mostly I just wanted to brag there. I think I'm done, now. *dimples*

I did! (I looked for my SP2 and SP3 tapes when I was home two weeks ago and alas I could not locate them. I suspect they've either been purged or they are hiding in a bin in the basement somewhere. :( I will try again the next time I"m home!)

*coughs* OK. I'm better, now. ^_^ Aw. Well, if you ever do find them, I'll be happy to copy them to DVD for you, too. I'm actually really impressed by the quality of the tape! Whoever did this did a great job and there's not a whole lot of degradation.

Funny, but I'm now thinking I've never even heard Rex Smith. I think his understudy was on the night I saw it. O_O Now I must dig out my playbill. Yipes. I've been listening to the CR for so long, I now don't even remember what the actual cast members sounded like from when I saw it. O_O So, yes. You now much must find the SP2 bootleg. This injustice must be rectified! :D

She doesn't think she did. But then we both vaguely recalled a phone conversation in which I told her that she could. But I also vaguely remember saying she could and then hemming and hawing and her saying she'd just keep them. But i do that about a lot of things when she calls about stuff I've left behind, so I could be mixing it up with another phone call. BUT I found SOME vhs tapes in the basement (from when I would religiously record The Kids in the Hall and Sailor Moon around the same time), which suggests that if THOSE are still there the otehr might be too. It's possible that I just need to look harder. I will continue the investigation next time. ;)

And yeah, I'm sure it wouldn't be TOO hard to obtain them again, except maybe that adlibbing clip. That one was randomly included at the end of a bootlegged copy of SP1 in which Bryan Batt was on as Percy...

Mmm... hopefully you're right. ^_^ I never have a lot of luck obtaining bootlegs because most people will only trade for them (understandably, I suppose) and most of what I want, I don't have anything they'd be willing to trade for because they usually already have it. :-P

Bwhahahaha! You rocked the wedding. :) I am so proud! And yes, women understand that there are some things it's always okay to fuss about. Losing weight, a great haircut, a perfect pair of shoes. Seimei! *glomp* I totally did. :D Between all the compliments and getting to watch my ridiculously cute niece run around in her fancy dress, I think that was the most fun I've ever had at a wedding. And Matt's reaction was completely priceless. ^_^ I look forward to being able to tease him about it at a later date! ;D It's funny though... now that I think about it, all the older men had no problem telling me I looked great. I guess they get over that kind of shyness with age. ^_^
