Going to NJ tomorrow for a weekend of awesome with msorange21. *squee!* Not one Rocky showing, but two! I am so damned excited. ^_^ And then GAVIN CONCERT ON MONDAY!!!

And in celebration, and because I did manage to be "productive" today, I give you a word count. ^_^

10:43 PM count update. And I have been letting myself get totally distracted with phone calls and comment answers -- a clear sign that I'm getting tired. O_O Which is bad because I really want to finish this scene! *pout* One other thing that came out of my flurry of comments in response to this entry... I tallied up my total word count of completed stories I've written for Hair. The total? 200,546 words. I have written 200,546 words of Hair fic. O_O That's... that's a lot of words. I'm going away now. O_O;;;

((11:57 PM count update. Duuuuude, I'm tired. O_O And I have to get up at 6 AM tomorrow to pack my (hopefully) dry clothes and drive to New Jersey. Fortunately, I did manage to get to the end of the scene. Hopefully the last 1500 words or so won't be total crap when I reread them in the morning. *yawns* 'Night all!))

I'm tempted to tackle this as a NaNo project... but I've never done NaNo before and I have papers and stuff to do this month. O_O And if I already have almost 6,000 10,000 words written, I think that would be cheating. :-P Eh, we'll see. ^_^

I know! :D Isn't is awesome? *chuckles* It's like I said... nothing, nothing, nothing and then BAM! Thousands of words in one sitting. O_O To date, though the most I ever did in one day is still when I wrote my first Hair story, "Where Do I Go?" I wrote it in one day and it totalled out to something like 12,000 words. O_O

I am loving what I'm writing, though. ^_^ Maybe I'll even manage to get you to read this one. *eg* *pokepoke*

I....rewrote a sentence today.

Instead of
"He’s still not fast enough and Berger reaches back to take Claude’s hand, pulls him along."

it now reads "No one’s ever been fast enough to keep up with Berger and when Claude inevitably lags behind, Berger reaches back to take Claude’s hand, pulls him along."

So that's, what? 11 words? Impressive, yeah?

Oh and I came up with a title. That ups my word count to FIFTEEN.

AND I THOUGHT I READ ALL OF YOUR NEW STUFF. I just haven't managed to go back and read all the stuff I missed! Which I do need to do. When I have like a week cause you have MILLIONS of words of Hair fic. 12,000 words in one day. Crazy woman.

Seriously, dude... no comparisons, please. The quality of what you put out is such that quantity is immaterial. ^_^ And hey -- it's an awesome sentence rewrite! And coming up with titles is the hardest part! ;D

*chuckles, holds hands up in defense* OK, you're right, you totally did. ^_^ I was just teasing. And I don't think I have millions. Though that does make me wonder how many I do have... O_O I'm gonna end up counting, I just know it, because now I want to know. O_O

But, seriously, the 12,000 in one day was an anomaly. I haven't written that many in day since then. That's how I knew this Hair obsession was something special. ^_^

Edit: O_O I totally tallied. Not counting the stories I have currently in the works, I've written 200,546 words of Hair fic. I... I have nothing to say in my own defense. I'm sick. I need help. O_O

200,546 words. I think it is entirely possible that ALL of the fic i have EVER written might not add up to this number. I'm a little tempted to check, except that sounds like a whole lot of work for a friday night.

Yeah... I was kind of shocked, myself. O_O That's three or four novels worth of writing. O_O I don't think I've ever been so prolific for any other fandom. What's really scary is that I wrote it all in... *ponders* ...9 months? Is that right? Yeah. O_O I wrote WDIG? at the end of January. That's... kind of scary... O_O

And, OMG, I love those icons!! *beams* I will snag them all! :D You are made of awesome. ^___________^
