Hair fic... Yes!
May. 22nd, 2010 11:20 pmWoot! After a two week dry spell, we have fic! It's not anywhere near done or post-ready, but at least I'm writing something. ^_^ *cheers* Another prequel story, one-shot... possibly a two-shot. Depends on how verbose everyone is feeling. *g*
George held up a hand to put a stop to what looked to turn into an impressive spate of babbling, "Wait a minute. Neil... you've never been to the beach? You live on an island, for Christ's sake!"
*eg* *toddles off to write some more*
Side Note: Ah! Just figured out where the sudden inspiration came from! ^_^ Went in to the city to see "This Side of Paradise" with my mother. (Why would this inspire me to write Hair-fic, you ask? I'm getting there.) Without even asking me as we were walking up 8th, she decided to cut over to 9th on 45th street, even though the theatre that we were going to was on 46th. Of course, I had a little thrill, but figured it was just coincidence. However, when we reached the Al Hirschfeld, she smiled at me as I practically bounced along next to her and said, "I thought you might appreciate this." She even noticed that they left some of the pictures of the original cast up on the doors. *_* *_* Have I mentioned lately how much I adore my mother? *_* *_* Anyway, I guess I soaked up some of the atmosphere of the show through the doors of the theatre as we passed... ^_^ Yay, fic!
