OB3 Rewrite Status Update

eirenicalHad my second epidural cortisone injection today -- hopefully that will put the final nail in the coffin of my back pain. ^_^ And in the meantime... there is ficcing! It's amazing -- when I find myself forcibly out of work, the creative well just seems to turn on full force. Maybe I actually could do this for a living one day... *shrugs* Will have to tackle some of my original fiction once I have OB done. ^_~
So... on a similar note, I seem to have developed a new writing habit. O_o;;; Sitting on my bed in my parents' house, using my mother's laptop, I feel inspiration to fic. At home, at my desk, at my own computer, I can not. *sweatdrop* Maybe my back hurts less sitting Indian style on my bed than it does sitting on my desk chair...? Good grief, if that's the case, I need a new desk chair. O_o;;;
Anyway, just a brief status check: Got through a few more scenes in OB3 (and am now actually in Chapter 3, proper ^_^) and found that a little bit of it... here and there... was actually usable! *cheers* Anyway, got a pretty good chunk done this evening and now I'm gonna stop before it ends up being 4 AM with me still trying to fic. O_o;;;
10100 / 15814 words. 64% done!
Do you realized that including the little bit (maybe 500 words total?) that I was able to use out of the fic that was already written, that I wrote about 4000 words today? *falls over* No wonder my brain is frazzled. *chuckles* But hey... if I can pick up this writing streak again next year, maybe I can actually do NaNoWriMo...? *eg* Maybe have to give that a shot. ^_~
