NaNoWriMo... revisited?

eirenical*coughs* So, (to steal a paraphrase from Firecat) apparently December is turning into "Finish Osozaki Blooms Month". What would that be... FiOBMo? *chuckles* Well, "finish" may not be the operative word, but at least I'm working on it. For the first time in almost... 8? years, my writing isn't fighting with me anymore. *chibi pauses to bask in the wonder of that for a moment* I sit down at my computer, I ponder momentarily what scene has to go into the fic next, then I sit down and I write it. *_* It's great. I am loving every second of it. So, I've decided that I really am going to make a concerted effort to finish OB. And then... go back and rewrite the first 6 or 7 parts. O_o;;; Good grief, how did you people get hooked on this thing to begin with? Some of the earlier parts are just... *shudders* bad.
Anyway, in honor of my new dedication... Word counts!
OB 9 word count (total to date/total desired, bronze = written today):
Most of OB's other chapters (with the excluding blip of Ch. 8) are all in the vicinity of 7000-8000 words and that seems like a pretty good length, so I'm going to shoot for something similar for Ch. 9. Ch. 8 was really too short, and if I hadn't been in such an overwhelming frenzy to get it finished, I would have included some of what is now in Ch. 9 in there. *shrugs* Oh well. I'm back in the swing of things now. ^_^ Hopefully I'll stay there.
