*coughs* Just a quick note to say "Seasons Greetings and Happy Holidays" to all on my f-list.

...and anyone else (all two of you?) who read this LJ.

Been a scary hard few months, what with recovering from my back injury and the usual hell at work. And just when I finally feel like I'm back on my feet... my kitty gets diagnosed with GI lymphoma. ;_; Fortunately, she's doing well and is undergoing chemo with no current complications, but the whole situation still sucks. Especially when I consider that if I had acquiesced to the need for invasive diagnostics two years ago, or even 6 months ago, I might have caught this when it was still Inflammatory Bowel Disease. *sigh* Well, of all the cancers a kitty can have, small cell lymphoma is still one of the most treatable. So, we'll have to see, right?

Anyway, didn't want you all to think that I'd dropped off the face of the earth. Just overly occupied with RL and trying desperately to keep my head above water.

*hugs* I'm so sorry to hear about your little Lily. I'll be sending good thoughts and prayers to the both of you. And try not to beat yourself up too much over it.. the thought of invasive diagnostic work is scary, especially when it's your own kitty in question.

I'm glad to hear from you, though - I was getting just a tad bit worried, but figured you were busy. Thank you for your Christmas wishes too! *many hugs*

*snugs* I'll be sure to pass them along to Lilly. ^_^ Ironically enough, I had to put Lilly in a client's shoes to make the decision. When I asked myself, "If Lilly was someone else's kitty, would you tell them to do the exploratory?" and my answer was a resounding "Yes," the choice became easier. I'm just going to kick myself a little longer for not getting there sooner. *sigh*

We'll have to try this new-fangled thing called a "phone" some day. I hear they're kind of nifty. ^_^ When are you usually around, BTW? Every time I try to call, I seem to get your voicemail or your husband... *g*

You know, I debated with myself for a minute or two deciding whether there was one 'l' in Lilly or two - guess I chose wrong. ^-^ *cuddles and hugs a Lilly and Renee*

And I'm sure Lilly would understand.. after all, we're mere humans. Cats never make mistakes, but they're pretty forgiving of our shortcomings. *grins*

As for when I'm around... your guess is as good as mine. I can't even give you a day, because my schedule is always different. Ah, the joys of retail. I'm off this Sunday, assuming nothing changes between now and then - which isn't outside the realm of possibility. But you'll probably be able to reach me, if that day is good for you.
