Evil friends

eirenicalSo, lots of RL stuff going on... the upshot of which is that I'm going to see the fireworks at Longwood Gardens on Sunday night (*squee!*) and my boss and I finally had a "Come to Jesus meeting" (as Bill Engvall would say). We got together, had dinner (paid for by our field director), and just hashed out all of the stupid sh*t between us. Turns out that she essentially thought that I was calling this a Workman's Comp injury when it wasn't and was harboring all kinds of resentment at me for not being there for 2 1/2 months. We discussed it all like rational people and are finally back on an even keel and I think we're on better terms with each other than we've been in almost a year. ^_^ I really hope so, 'cuz I miss the time when I liked her unequivocally.

nightsea to drag me into a project that I shouldn't have. She discovered this really neat site called Library Thing. It allows you to catalog all of your books. And since I always wanted to go through my collection and create a spreadsheet to help me keep track of them all, this seemed like a great opportunity! ^_^ So, here's the beginning of mine. The really scary thing? I have 112 books in this list... and I haven't even scratched the surface of my collection yet. Not to mention that I don't have access to the 200-300 books I have in NY... *sweatrain* Suddenly this project seems daunting... *shakes fist at Melissa*
