OK, as I was home over break, I got together with Melissa. We got to talking about writing and world-building and how we both don't do enough of the former and I desperately need to start doing the latter. So, again, a resolution that I will begin to do both. I won't be as ambitious as Melissa and offer to write something new every day. Between you, me, and the rest of the world, it'll never bloody happen. -.-;;; But, I will try to write something new every week. That way, if I write more often, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Or -- seeing as how no one reads this journal -- maybe not.

Also, I realized that I never posted any type of a copyright statement on this journal, so please listen up. *clears throat*

All writing and related items, posted on this journal (www.livejournal.com/users/rchan/), my pita (chibis.pitas.com), my ML (groups.yahoo.com/group/chibi-fic), and my website (chibis.net) are property of ME. Don't steal them. Don't make them yours. I had someone do this to me once with one of my Power Rangers fanfics. It is unethical and, were I a published author, illegal.

Any comments or opinions expressed by others on this journal (or any of the other afore-mentioned websites) are property of those who wrote them. I make no claims on them, nor do I claim any responsibility for them.

I believe that covers everything. Most importantly, my own butt. *smirk*

::grins:: You might be more realistic in only trying to write once a week. Given my current school schedule, I think it may end up going that way as well. But I'll keep trying for once a day until I finally give up and go for once a week.

Oh, and thanks for commenting on my other entry. Comments are fun!

...and I read this journal, so there. ::preens::

*hugs* I do aim to be realistic. Though the way my workload is shaping up, it may end up being once a month. *boggles*

...and you may be the only one who does. -.-;;;

Actually..

I don't think whether or not you're published officially makes any difference in copyrighting. Anything you write fanfic wise is your intellectual property, and therefore immediately copyrighted by you.

It's the same thing as several of my professor's lectures. They WILL NOT allow recording of lectures unless someone has a disability, and the syllabus even says that if they are recorded and/or distributed illegally, students can be prosecuted..so as far as I'm aware, all you need to do is post the kind of warning you just did.

...but I'm a little rusty on copyright law.
