Calling all The 4400 fans...?

I think I just got talked into/talked myself into writing a Teen Wolf x The 4400 crossover. Which is EPIC... except for that fact that it also has the potential to be an epic. I would end up wanting to write the whole 4400 canon.

THERE'S FOUR SEASONS WORTH OF CANON + DYSTOPIAN/UTOPIAN FUTURE POTENTIAL.

The worst part? Probably no one but me and the person enabling me would read it or get why it's epic. *sweatdrop* Even when I write in big fandoms, they end up small. O_o;;;

...that being said, I think I'm almost definitely writing this.

Damn it.

So, uh... can anyone think of a power that would be related (but not the same power) to Shawn's ability to give and take life/lifeforce (basically the ability to heal and kill)?

Heard a lot about Teen Wolf. Would you recommend it? Also, good luck on the fic. Sounds like a big project!

I had a really weird trek with Teen Wolf. I watched the first seven episodes pretty much straight through and really enjoyed them but didn't feel like I would become overly fannish about it. I mean... I liked them, but that was all it was. Fun little show to pass the time between other shows. Then I saw the end of S1 and was like... "Oh. OH. That was good. Where's S2?" Then I watched S2... and it was one, giant avalanching snowball of holy fucking goodness I love this!!! from there on out. O_o;;; Especially the last two episodes of S2. I think I've rewatched them about, oh... 10 times -- since I first watched them less than a month ago. O_o;;;

So, uh... I'm not sure the show is as good as how obsessed I've gotten with it, but I would definitely recommend at least giving it a try. ^_^ There are SO many good little moments between the characters and unusual gender role-flips and tiny bits of humor in the midst of epic badness where you're TOTALLY not expecting it. So. Uh. Yeah. I would recommend giving it a try. ^_^ There are only 26 episodes so far, and they watch pretty quickly. Plus, they're all on Netflix. ^_~

And thanks for the good luck wishes! I think I don't know how to write small fics. -.-;;; I think in epic scope. This is why I publish so little except at fic exchange time. -.-;;;

...speaking of, I should SO not be thinking about this. I should be finishing my Yuletide fic... which is due in TWO DAYS. O_O;;;

Oh! Dude, I totally didn't mean "this" as in you and Teen Wolf. O_o;;; I meant "this" as in -- another fanfic other than the one I'm supposed to be working on. Actually, I shouldn't even be thinking about Yuletide. I need to submit a resume/cover-letter to someone ASAP and should really do that first. O_o;;; But, seriously, don't worry about any of that. If you weren't "distracting me" I'd be distracting myself just fine with no help. ^_~

But, yes! I'm the same way! When I see people getting excited about stuff, I want to know what the fuss is about, too. ^_^ If you want to see more of the specifics of what I like about the show (but with possible spoiler risks O_o;;;), you can always browse my tumblr Teen Wolf tag. ;)
