Semi-yearly LJ freakout
Oct. 27th, 2012 08:42 amOK, here it is. My semi-yearly freakout that LJ is going to the dogs and this is why none of my comms and friends are active anymore. :-P

In case the dearth of content on your f-lists hasn't been a big enough clue, Livejournal is phasing out all of their U.S. staff, permanently.

It's not your Livejournal anymore, and hasn't been for quite some time. The message that SUP management is sending has been very clear: they don't want fandom on LJ anymore. But have faith, true fen! There are still journaling services who want you.
(/end stolen bit)
So, here's my question...
Anyone here on DW?
I can't quite seem to get used to the interface, myself -- too similar to LJ -- but I do keep my LJ entries imported and updated with, uh... someirregularity. -.-;;; Anyway, if you're over there, let me know. I'll add you.
Because, as difficult as I find DW to get used to, when LJ finally does turn itself into something I don't even want to associate with and destroys what little of fandom culture is still here... I'd rather jump ship to DW than to tumblr. Because fannish pursuits on tumblr make me more than a little uncomfortable. -.-;;;
