NaNoWriMo Day #23

Yeah... 66 more words today. I did some tweaking of the scene I didn't like and finally (on the fourth re-read), I think I like what it's doing now. :-P Hopefully I'll actually find some time to write tomorrow. *sigh*

NaNo... damn it.

So, the good news is that I just wrote 2400 words. The bad news is that the reason that one scene was being so hellacious was that it wasn't the right place for it... so I just cut 3575 words from the fic. *sweatdrop* I skipped to a new spot which seems to be going better for me and the plot is finally moving itself along again, but this was a bit of an annoying setback. Especially because I'm pretty certain that I'm not going to have a use for the 4000 words I just cut when all is said and done. *sigh* Damn it.

Now at 35,607 words... again. :-P

4:12 PM... Yeah, I was right. Transition scene is in place and there will be nowhere that I can possibly use the other scene I just scrapped. *sigh* Oh well. These things happen and at least I caught it before it tripped up the whole damned fic. 36,044 words and counting... and the scene I'm currently writing is reminding me that I have to go over to mom's to help do stuff for Thanksgiving. O_O Oops. Going now, hopefully more writing when I get back.
