eirenical: (Hair -- *hug*)
And since I'm going to be running around like a maniac for the morning and possibly the afternoon, thought I'd get this posted nice and early. Enjoy!

Fandom: Hair, the new Broadway revival
Pairing: Claude/Berger, Hud/Dionne
Rating: R
Word Count: 22,988 -- and even with all that, one of the two scenes I was most eager to write... decided it wanted to wait for the next fic. *falls over*; ~5500 per part, except for the prologue, which is 1,357.
Warnings: Slash, angstangstangst. O_O

Disclaimer: Neither the musical nor the boys belong to me, if they did they'd be groping each other on sta--. *pause* *blinkblink* Huh. Look at that... they do. *eg* :D ((*coughs* For the record, because I never actually stated it in the disclaimer before, I'll state now that I do know that "Hair" was written in 1967 by James Rado and Gerome Ragni and with music by Galt MacDermot. Thank you very much...))

Summary: Third in the "Where Do I Go?" set. Ignoring a problem doesn't make it go away, no matter how desperately you might wish it would. And our Tribe has been ignoring far too many problems of late. What happens when the dam finally collapses?

Week 22

So, I just realized that it's been a while since I did a weight loss update. So, here goes. *sigh* While my body seems to be readjusting itself to fit into smaller and smaller clothing (size 14 jeans and fairly consistently in size L -- and one or two size M!! -- shirts), my weight loss itself has been fluctuating like a mad bitch. O_O Up 0.6 one week... then again the next week. Then down 1.4... then back up another 1.2, then down 1.6. It's driving me absolutely batty, let me tell you. *sweatdrop* At least most of the "bad" weeks I could figure out what I did wrong. And since this week now marks the second loss in a row, TMI below the cut ) hopefully I'm back on track now. ^_^

For the record, because the total still impresses me... 31.8 lbs. gone. Hopefully never to return. *beams* Thankyouverymuch. *mutters* Now if I don't screw it all up between next week's trip to Delaware and the Passover seder after that... I'll be immensely impressed. @_@

In other news? Very sad that the original new cast of Hair is officially gone. *sobs* I wish them all the best in London, I really do... but I can't afford to go there to see them. ;_; This makes me sad. As a result, I may take a bit of a break before starting the next Hair fic and do something totally different, like... work on OB. I think I've put off tackling that damned fourth chapter long enough, don't you? O_O

Oh, and for those of you who don't read my ff.net page (who could blame you? O_o;;;), I'm going to send the general plea out here, too. "A Rose by Any Other Name," the sequel to "Forget Me Not," is done. But I'm so sick of looking at the damned thing that I can't even begin to beta it myself... and having been written over a span of 10-11 years, it desperately needs a beta to check for continuity. And since my beloved beta for my PR fics is very deeply immersed in her own life at the moment and I really don't want to harass her... that means I need to find someone else to do it. If you're willing, or know someone who is, please e-mail me or leave a comment and let me know. Thanks! ^_^
