OB3 -- Still working
Dec. 30th, 2009 03:25 pmJust keeping track of progress. I'd like to finish this chapter before New Years. ^_^ I think it's doable. *opens up MS Word and goes back to plugging away at Chapter 3*
On another note, it amazes me that I'm just over halfway through this thing and it's already almost 7000 words longer than it was when I started. O_o;;;
11619 / 16647 words. 70% done!
5:15 PM -- Making progress, slowly but surely. I finally got to rework that ridiculous scene where Nuriko gets beat up by the lords of the Court when they return from Taiitsu-kun's place. That scene has always bothered me, because even if Nuriko were distraught, if he'd even flung out an arm, he could have taken out half the people attacking him. O_o;;; Of course, the only obvious answers were to remove the scene entirely... or to have it happen because Nuriko decided that he deserved it and didn't want to fight back. Eh-heh... Gomen ne, Nuriko... I was supposed to be removing angst, wasn't I?

Oh my G-d, Oh my G-d. *flails* *flubs* The next section has an "Arigato gozaimus" and a "Daijabou". *wince* For goodness sake, they're not even spelled right! *falls over* May G-d save me from fangirl Japanese. I knew not what I was doing. -.-;;;
