So... Today I began the gi-normous task of unpacking, realphabetizing (again), and shelving all my books. As an addendum, I also decided (for some G-d forsaken reason) to take this as the time to add all of my books to my LibraryThing catalog to help keep it all organized and to help avoid buying books multiple times. Several things came to light as I was doing this, which I would like to share with you.
1) I have 369 books on my catalog.
2) These are only the paperback books.
3) I'm only at "L" in the reshelving.
4) At least 1/3 of my books are still at my parents house.
5) I am yet again having to double-stack my books on the bookcases or I just know I'm going to run out of room.
6) I haven't read at least 25-30% of the books I'm reshelving. *dies*
Does anyone else find this set of realizations scary? O_O;;;
And on that note... I'm going to bed. Happy 5th day of Chanukah, and Merry X-mas to the rest of you! ^_^
