(no subject)

So, I think I've finally figured out what I'm going to use this journal for. ^_^ Rather than using it as another weblog (I mean, who really needs 2 of those?), I'm going to follow in the footsteps of so many others and use it to post fic snippets. ^_^ And with the nifty little comments link, no one will have an excuse for not writing me C&C! *bouncie* Now I'll just need to spread the word... ^_^ And write something. O_O;;; Once finals are over, that is... *sheepish grin* Only two more to go! *bouncie*

Mighty Ducks fic

*eyes the tumbleweeds idly blowing across the ML*

*coughs* OK... so it's been awhile. *sheepish grin* A long while. But... there's some very interesting news. I was typing up the rest of this one scene that I was working on, futzing with it and changing it as I went. Then I got to the end. As I got there, I realized that the last line would make a really good title. So, title problem solved. Then comes the massively freaky part. The more I looked at that last line, and the more I read through those last paragraphs... the more it occurred to me that that would be a tremendously wonderful place to end the fic. I think I had actual heart palpatations when I came to that conclusion.

So here I am, one year, four days, and 18 hours later... and I think the fic is done. It needs a good read through (If anyone would like to volunteer to read through the whole thing and give me C&C [comments and criticisms], not to mention helping me edit/proof-read this monster, I'd really appreciate it.), but the bulk of it, I think, will stand.

Thank you for coming along for the ride, everyone! It's been fun. ^_^ When I finally have the fic edited and HTMLed, I'll let you know so you can go read all the way through it. ^_^

Minor note: I'm not entirely happy with how the last part sounded, so I rewrote parts of it. Most notably the end. ^_^
