Hair in Philly... #28
OK. I'm full of way too much squee to make ANY kind of sense right now, but I at least wanted to update the tally. It's official... by the end of the Philly run, I'll have seen Hair exactly 30 times, 25 of those with the tour cast. -.-;;; Wow.
Movingonnow.
Apparently, Paris is sick. Though this week is his scheduled vacation, he was out the last week or so of the Toronto run and has apparently kind of blown out his voice. D: This horrifies me. Get better, Paris!! Even if I never see you in Hair, again (likely... oh, who am I kidding? Definitely.), I don't care... I just want you better. :( Losing your voice on the stage would be a tremendous loss. :(
And... I'm too tired and discombobulated for anything else.

17) 8/3/11 matinee -- NYC, St. James Theatre, Tour Cast -- with Jay, lotto win. Hud-Jay eye sex. Hud-Jay dancing. Caren-seat stealer. HOW DID I FORGET THIS ONE??? D:
18) 8/16/11 evening -- NYC, St. James Theatre, Tour Cast -- with my mom. ^_^ Aw.
19) 8/19/11 evening -- NYC, St. James Theatre, Tour Cast -- Larkin Bogan on for Woof from Be-In on, Emily Afton in Jen Sese's track, Lee Zarrett as Dad/MM, Tripp Fountain as Lee Zarrett (except Tripp sang Electric Blues and Lee Zarrett did his "Oooookaaaaay" line before the conjuring scene), Gavin Creel and Andrew Kober in the audience. ^_^ Still must babble about this one, OMG. O_O *_* O_O
20) 8/30/11 evening -- NYC, St. James Theatre, Tour Cast -- with Jay, no understudies.
21) 9/3/11 evening -- NYC, St. James Theatre, Tour Cast -- with Jay, Marshal Kennedy Carolan on for Claude, Emily Afton on for Mother/Buddha, Laura Dreyfuss on for Jen Sese, Corey Bradley on for Arbender Robinson, Larkin Bogan on for Marshal Kennedy Carolan. Paris calls out for the first time in 300 shows. O_O Wow.
22) 9/5/11 evening -- NYC, St. James Theatre, Tour Cast -- Larkin Bogan on for Claude; Lauren Elder and (?) Maya Sharpe (?) spotted in audience. ^_^
23) 9/7/11 matinee -- NYC, St. James Theatre, Tour Cast -- with Jay, won lotto, 2nd and 3rd seat in from right aisle, 2nd row. *deep breath* *pause* You know what? Picture will be easier. Have one. ^_^

So, umm... yeah. O_O Damn. That's a lot of understudies. Tanesha Ross was covering Emmy Raver-Lampman's track. Laura Dreyfuss covered Sara King's track. Larkin Bogan covered John Moauro's track. Emily Afton was covering a combo of Christine Nolan's Tribe track (when Christine was onstage as Mother or Buddha) and Allison Guinn's Tribe Track when Christine was onstage in her Tribe Track. It took me forever to figure that last one out. O_O;;;
24) 9/8/11 evening -- NYC, St. James Theatre, Tour Cast -- Laura Dreyfuss as Crissy, Emily Afton in Sara King's track, Corey Bradley in Mike Evariste's track.
25) 9/9/11 evening -- NYC, St. James Theatre, Tour Cast -- Corey Bradley in for Mike Evariste and Emily Afton in for... see what I mean? Crap. Who was she on for? :( Anyway, this was also the night that Matt DeAngelis called lotto and talked Marshal into coming over to pull some names. At one point they got abandoned on the steps while a total count was taken. Marshal was innocently drinking his Starbucks beverage and kind of looked like a little kid sucking on a lollipop. Matt started trying to kiss him on the lips and Marshal just kept turning his face away and sucking away at that straw with this look of pure innocence on his face. When this was clearly failing, Matt then started licking Marshal's cheek... and Marshal just kind of grinned and continued his innocent routine... while still sucking on the straw. I about died. Seriously. ^_^
26) 9/10/11 matinee -- NYC, St. James Theatre, Tour Cast -- Corey Bradley in for Mike Evariste
27) 9/10/11 evening -- NYC, St. James Theatre, Tour Cast, last night of the Summer of Love 2011 -- Corey Bradley in for Mike Evariste; last show for Cailan Rose, Arbender Robinson and Kacie Shiek. :(
28) 1/5/12 evening -- Philadelphia, Academy of Music, Tour Cast -- OK, regular people in new parts, first. Ryan Link as Woof; Mike Evariste as Hud; Sara King as Sheila; Aleque Reid as Jeanie; Liz Baltes as Mom/Buddha; Will Blum as Dad/MM; Shaleah Adkisson now sings Cailin's "What a Piece of Work is Man" solo, Corey Bradly is in Mike Evariste's track (but I think sings Arbender's "Don't Put it Down" part), Laura Dreyfuss is in Cailin Rose's track (OMG *_*), Jamila Sabares-Klemm is in Sara King's track, Laura D'Andre is in Jen Sese's track and Gregory L. Williams is in Arbender Robinson's track. O_O Wow. Tonight's understudies: Marshal Kennedy Carolan is on for Claude all week except Sat. matinee; William Joseph Lewise was in Marshal's track... and holy shit, he looks just like Paris before Paris cut his hair. It was fuckin' me up something awful. O_O I kept looking up and going, "Paris--? No. Not Paris. *pout*" WEIRD.
Further thoughts some time tomorrow, because... dude, I'm too drained and yet full of squee to even think about a review tonight. Suffice it to say that overall, I'm happy. Very. ^_^ More on that at a later date. ^________________^

I was only able to watch 9 hahahaha
I so fucking LOVE Paris, I also hope he will be better soon! =)

And Paris is AMAZING. Love. Him. Esp. with Steel. ^_~ I'm a bit nervous though, there's an article floating around with a line that he "left the cast in December." Hopefully that was only referring to the Toronto run. :( Because Marshal was still posting that he was only on for the week because it was Paris' scheduled vacation as of last week. *shrugs* Who knows?
*poke* Gearing up to get back to work on the 3rd Algea story, BTW. Thought that might be relevant to your interests. ^_~

Never really heard Marshal so I can't say anything about him hahaha
But I hope he will be back, not counting brazilian Berger, Paris is my favorite (so sorry Willy)<3 hahahaha
*poke* that's very good to know! XD
*poke again* don't forget to try to give some lovely times to my adorable Mrs Bukowski (nope, I'm a brat, I didn't forget about her) =D

Here. Have a video. ^_^
But yes, even so, Paris is sorta my favorite, too -- I think he may even tie Gavin by now. -.-;;;
*chuckles* And don't worry. Mrs. B. is going to get some pretty good screentime in this fic -- possibly even in the next scene. I think it may go that way, anyway. It feels like it will. ^_^ Though apparently I'm taking a brief detour around this fic to work on The Fic I'm Not Writing first. -.-;;; I don't even know.
